NEED Advice on What speakers to get

Thanks for the advice, I appreciate it. I actually asked for Polk Audio's when I first came in and the guy looked at me like I was crazy. I didn't think the Focal's were that great either. I'll keep looking.

OK... well I'll need to wait until I find out how this shop handles my situation. Model number and price?

NEED Advice on What speakers to get

I'll give it a shot... but have a feeling they're going to say I turned up the amp or something. Any suggestions on what I should get? Don't think I can find Focal's that can handle that power... that's in my price range.

NEED Advice on What speakers to get

Focal Access 130 CA1 SG, and 165 A1 SG. Before the install I told the guy I was concerned because the RMS was os low, and he and 2 others told me it would be fine. I was only looking to spend $150 each pair at the time, but would go up to $300 each now if I have too

I need help on what speakers to buy! I have a 4 channel Kicker amp (650 RMS) powering a pair of 6.5's, 5.25's, and 2 dome tweeters. I'm thinking I need at least 100 watts RMS each speaker, but not sure what to get. I would ask the shop that did my complete install, but they assured me my focals...

He specifically said they tapped in after the amp. So they need to bypass the amp altogether? Do you know why? I can tell they're not sure what the problem is, and they're pretty much guessing at this point, so any additional knowledge on this is extremely appreciated!

They did not bypass. Can you please tell me why so I can explain to them? I asked them if they checked the connections behind the deck, and they said that they didn't do anything behind the deck because the deck just has a few wires that runs to the stock amp, and that all they have to do is...

Thanks, that's good to know. But it will go to the lowest sound setting, to extremely loud even at 14 volts.

My voltage meter always reads 13.2 ish - 14.5, so I cant image it would be a voltage problem. But who knows... oh and just bought a new battery a week ago.

I recently just had installed 2 12" Kicker CVR's (400 RMS each) a 750 RMS mono Kicker amp, and a 650x4 channel Kicker amp and a pair of 6.5" and 5.25" Focal Access (60 watt RMS each speaker), and OAWG Kicker amp wiring kit, in a 2004 Cadillac CTS. This was professionally installed by a highly...
