I just got this MTX8100D amp and I've never even used it. I slightly cut the plastic so i could get the test sheet out and the owners manual. This amp turned out to be more than what I really needed for my car. I've never sold anything online so I think I would only accept cash or money order.

Man i got all my stuff installed and it sounds really nice! I couldnt imagine having more power to those subs. I am really pleased thanks for all your help.

The MTX is good for now or good for later? because if i can get by right now with the HiFonics that'd be good. I am going to use a fuse instead of breaker also. I would rather feed an amp exactly what its suppost to be fed, opposed to running 4 guage to it. But as long as the hifonics will push...

I was wondering if it would be ok to let my HiFonics Z6400 Power my MTX8000 12" (2). I had bought the MTX8100 but it takes 1/0 guage wire and pulls alot of current. The subs are 4 ohms so could i bridge the channels to make two channels and that would be 340 watts X 2. RMS on the subs is 400...

But that HiFonics will do what i need it to do, I plan on getting a new car in about a year and a half and then in that car i will upgrade the alternator and use the MTX with 0 guage wire. Oh and with that HiFonics is it ok to use a 70 AMP circuit breaker opposed to a 70 amp fuse?
