i set the gains with a dmm like everyone suggested here, and the birthsheet says its rated for 603

just wondering if say my kicker 500.1 amp is rated for 603Wrms if i can set the gains to that spec or around 580W, its around 550 at the moment, and also im changing from cheap mobilespec to level 2 stinger pro rca's and i didnt know if i should re adjust the gains

yea i used it to set my amp at 550wrms, even though its birthsheet said its good to 603

oh well its tuned and sounds not as loud as my old shitty amp, but it makes my ears kinda pop lol so i know its louder

a few times, it just doesnt seem right that you could only hook a dmm up lol

ok i have a new amp coming in today its a kicker zx500.1 and as far as gains go im worried that i wont be able to hear distortion because apparently i couldnt hear it when i was setting my old amp and my buddy heard it before me, i was going to unplug my amp for my highs and mids so only the sub...

ok i already have a dual 10" sub ported box, the ports arent isolated, and the box takes up most of my hatch in my '00 integra, i have 2 powerbass m-10's and a kicker zx500.1 amp, are there different subs that i can get for under about $100 a piece that would be hit harder? ive heard alot about...

i was looking at the discus 1000.1 but i was told maxxsonics took em over and theyre crap now...... also to add to my info, i have a stock electrical with the big 3, stock 90 amp alty decent batt etc... and i already have a powerbass asa400.4 class a/b multi channel amp but im only using 2 of 4...
