So, I purchased some HAT L6's to go in some front kick panels of my stang. The guy called me back, and said he'd have to make some major mods to the kick panels for the 7". So...he switched my HAT's with Dynaudio's esotec mw162GT mid/woofers. What do you guys think of my shift? Being powered...

Im thinking 1000w would serve my purpose, if I had an SUV I was building, Id save up for that 5400 :P.

Who the heck makes great subwoofers. Looking to add a 12" after getting my fronts installed. Want clean first, but wants to handle alot of power. No amp yet, as amp will be bought specifically for the subwoofers. Im not a fan of kicker, and would choose TREO engineering over them any day if...

The dealer I purchased my HAT L6's through also mentioned Cascade, which like molds to the metal, if anyone has used that before..

Is Second skin worth the price of going pro, per say :P I was going to order a 100 sq ft of FatMat's Mega Mat, best they had, and a guy at best buy told me to look up Second Skin, and Ive read fantastic reviews from their product. But, as this thread starts out..is it really worth it.  ...

Im still getting the kick panels, they are on the way :P But thats cool!! Im dumb when it comes to taking apart/putting together stuff.

Is there a reason I SHOULDNT get the L6 midbass? Im willing to spend 350 on the alpine x pro's...

Legatia L6 Midbass/Midrange...how are these? They are 7.1", kick panels are 6.5". I just dont follow car audio that much anymore, and was going to go with Alpine Type X PRO's...any throw ins would be suggestive!

Lets say I got 100w RMS speakers @ 4 ohm. Lets say I have a RF T600.4 that puts out 100w rms @ 4 ohms...what does this Efficiency mean Efficiency (average) 70% @ 4-Ohm 64% @ 2-Ohm. Does this mean it really doesnt put out 100w rms at 4 ohms, more like 70w?
