True story....... but my HD goes up to 100 volume i can put it at about 55-57 with 2/4 x-bass but not much after they they crumble :P

uhm i dont think hell get the mid range he wants with 8's compared to 6x9's

ya if you get 6x9's then go with 3-ways or better if u want full range

if u get like 2 sets of 6x9's amp them, then you will. :] Infinity/ JBL good choices if you want bass

lol i love this debate im sorry but u can get about 3 L7 12's for the price of a W7 and the L7 doesnt take as much power and still hits just as hard or harder then the W7

I have JBL 6x9's GTO series 100 watt rms 300 watt max powered with a profile 100 rms x 2 at 4 ohms and i have my gains a little lower then half and no bass boost running off the amp i just use the X-Bass off my headunit and they sound good so if there clipping you have your gains to high off ur...

Save your self even more and buy 2 Solo-Baric L7 15's for $400 on ebay.

I had the same problem i upgraded my wiring from the speakers to the amp, if thats good then check to see if they are wired right on the amp......if not then yes maybe the right one is blown :[

Yo, i got JBL 6x9's GTO's and i got a 400 watt amped hooked up to them... they rattle my car pretty good with those alone ya i had low wattage going to them and they distorted at high levels but once i got my amp they play loud and pretty impreseive bass to :]
