I just installed this along with an alpine pxd-5 amp. It works fine when listening to a cd, ipod, or xm radio. But when you tune to a regular radio station all of the sound comes from one speaker (left front). Does anyone have any info on why this happens? Thanks Rut

I think I'm a little confused on the terminology. I'm asking if I have the sub in the trunk do I need an opening (port) into the cabin or will it work just closed up in the trunk?
