Took it to a car audio place, to test it to make sure the amp worked. They couldn't get it to work, so supposedly they opened it up and did something to it......then came back and told me it needs a new power supply???? THey wouldn't allow me to go back in their garage to see what they were...

No. No camera with me - i'll try to get some. I looked at it though and didn't see anything burnt.

Hey, what does an amp needing a new power supply mean? Took an amp I just purchased from here to a car audio place, to find out it won't come on. They said it needs a new power supply. Any help is appreciated. Is it expensive?

You guys aren't answering his question at all lol OP: look for a higher AH rating. With 1200 watts, you should be fine with an optima. Good AH ratings are around 135+ CCA doesn't matter - since that's just the cold cranking amps - if its a supplemental battery it wont be used anyway.
