    Rca Help Asap!!!

Buy the RCAs and test them out yourself, the cheap ones and the expensive ones. I'm sure all stores will let you return them if you're not satisfied. Anyways, that's what I would do.

    Radio stations problem

I think your HU has an option to disable SEEK. SEEK searches for the next frequency that it receives the best from. When you turn it off you'll be allowed to go to each tenth of a frequency. If that doesn't solve your problem, then I don't know.

    cap

I'm assuming you already have your system set up. Just add the cap's POS to your amp's POS and your caps NEG to your amps NEG. For me, I use the same screws on the amp for the junction.

    Cap wiring series/parallel?

yeah, what I mean is just sharing the same NEG that the amp uses with the NEG of the cap. and sharing the same POS of the amp with the POS of the cap.

    Cap wiring series/parallel?

would it be okay if I just add the cap to my current setup? as in just unscrew the power and negative screws on my amp and just have two wires, positive and negative running from the cap into the amp? That's the way I had it before, but I wasn't sure if that was okay, to just add the cap to the...

    Cap wiring series/parallel?

I was wondering how you guys wire your caps between your amp and battery. Do you wire it inseries, so that the electricity goes through your cap first or have it wired parallel. I figured if I wired it in series, the amp would drain all the power within the cap and it wouldn't be able to...

    please help!!!

Look at the specs for your sub, RMS and peak watts. I try to find an amp that has a little more power than the sub can handle. I have 425 watt MTX rt2200x amp powering a T8124 which handles 400 watt RMS and 1000 watt peak. I usually like to push it up to a little less than the point where it...

    Youch! Car Audio... what?

How many watts are you thinking of bumping and what's your price range? Are you looking for punchy bass or soft bass?

    Pleaaze dont IGNORE!!!!!!!!!!

I can't really understand what you're trying to say, bad grammar and all. If your stock speakers are buzzing where there should be bass, then you've blown the speakers. Kind of like how the sub sounds after you've blown it. It flutters with little or no bass.

    Mtx 6000

I started out with an mtx T4124 and burned it out immediately playing bass mekanik with my 425 watt mtx rt2200x. since I had bought a repair warranty, I went and exchanged it for another one. I blew that one too. Then I convinced them to upgrade my sub to a T 6124. Playing the sin waves on the...

hooked up correctly, power, but no sound. :(

I finally figured out what was wrong. My ground wasn't connected directly to the chassis. I opened up the mat in my trunk, where the spare tire was and saw that there was another ground wire there. I screwed my amp ground wire along with the original ground wire. The light is now bright and I...

hooked up correctly, power, but no sound. :(

I have an MTX RT2200X 60amp amplifier( 425 watts) and one subwoofer, MTX T8124(400 watts rms) 1000 watts peak). I originally had this installed in my '94 honda civic. Now I want it in my 94 accord. The only difference between the installation now and my previou installation is that the last head...
