Oh and most bracing will be mdf, just going to do 4 pieces of all thread from top to bottom so ~16" that will hold the box to the truck well and effectively brace it correct? I mean yes it's kinda heavy but it's tied to the bed using utili-track

Being so rare t/s parameters aren't available image dynamics couldn't tell me anything but I'm gonna jump head first into this and if it doesn't work then I learned an expensive lesson.

The qtc shows to be around .79 not the desired .7 being tuned to 45 I think it'll turn out ok. I bought 3 sheets of mdf today. Also if anyone cares I'll try to take lots of pictures. This is my first build of anything close to this magnitude it might be a total failure.

help with a 4th order bandpass build. two 12inch alphasonik's

Find the recommended sealed box size and go from there for your 4th if meets certain "required" specs high Qts low fs and high Vas. If it doesn't meet those specs or at least work out to be capable of running in a smallish sealed box look for different subs or go ported

putting the pair in just under 4 cubes sealed after bracing and adding poly-fill to that with the motors facing out to the ported chamber that will be right around 8 after its port bracing and subs. the access panel is kinda funky but was thinking 36x12 3/4 plexi with a 3/4 inch piece of mdf as...

where are you getting specs from? the ones i have seen from ID's site for the idq suggest it wouldnt be a bad sealed sub, meaning it should do well in a 4th order.

I need to know if this looks like a decent design, the bracing i plan to do is all thread and mdf what size all thread should be big enough? Does this look like it will work well, or should i try to change the design entirely?

and go. hows this look? thinkin some 3/4 plexi in the access panel and all thread for bracing, what size all thread is suggested i was thinking 1/2" would be plenty if i use neoprene and regular fender washers. scratched the round ports as then i have to cut multiple holes and cant find 10"...
