HERTZ HL70/ML700 or similar high end 3-3.5" 4 Ohm

Looking to buy a set of the Hertz HL70 or ML700 to replace factory dash speakers and boost my recent purchase of the Hertz HSK165XL 2 way set

DD M2c / M2b or similar quality amp in that range

Lol. He's the dealer they came from/warrantied through but the amps were actually from a friend of his. I was told that his friend decided to go with a few of the M5 instead of 4 M2c's so he was selling them off. I don't think he has anymore and it was from a different forum. He wasn't even...

DD M2c / M2b or similar quality amp in that range

Found that Soundqubed used to be called Audioque but changed their name after trying to trademark it and got sued by another company. Found out a lot of other stuff too but was then offered a NIB M2c with warranty from authorized dealer for under $470 shipped so I went ahead and purchased that...

DD M2c / M2b or similar quality amp in that range

I definitely plan on looking into Soundqubed tomorrow, but I've already bought the DD c5d so that's pretty much settled for the front hertz HSK165XL. The rest is still negotiable It's after 3am atm though so I'm going to bed. Thanks for the help and advice tonight. Take care

DD M2c / M2b or similar quality amp in that range

No no. He didn't tell me that at all. In fact, I've not even mentioned it to him yet. I was doing research and found out, like you've confirmed also, that those amps are of good quality. The only thing I've told him is that I wanted to run 2 12"s instead of a 15". He actually does competitions...

DD M2c / M2b or similar quality amp in that range

I'm trying to do most of this by learning what I can but I'm working with a guy at my local shop who I run everything by. He's set me straight on a few things so far. But thanks for looking out for me. But yeah, if I can get an $800 board for a decent price (I've already seen them from...

DD M2c / M2b or similar quality amp in that range

I'd read that the M2b can do .5 ohm easily and even .25 ohm (which I wouldn't do). One reason I was considering it due to having standard electrical equipment in car

That's good advice. I hadn't considered taking a video of it

DD M2c / M2b or similar quality amp in that range

Yeah, I haven't decided yet if I'm going with the T1D212 or the T1D412 yet. But since they're the exact same in every way except for that I've just been using the D2 as my reference. But are you saying an M2c wouldn't work with the D2's?

Here's a re-link of the site, you can check them out for your future purchases if you want. They claim new and sealed in box items Rockford Fosgate T1D212 (T1D2-12)

DD M2c / M2b or similar quality amp in that range

And just to add some background info, I've never purchased an aftermarket upgrade for car audio before. Everything I know at this point is from about 1.5-2 weeks of research and learning. Didn't even know what an amp did or anything about RMS or different resistance levels, amp class pro's and...

DD M2c / M2b or similar quality amp in that range

$448 for 2 T1D212's shipped to my door brand new with warranty isn't a bad price. Hopefully I'll find then cheaper before I order them but still not bad

DD M2c / M2b or similar quality amp in that range

Those are nice too but like I said, trying to stay with stock electrical and 2 of those + 2 150RMS speakers would make that very difficult. But regardless of what I do with I'm gonna need an amp so +1 brownie point for anyone with an M2c or M2b amp
