ha ha so sorry to interrupt but it is a total of 1800rms. Would a good battery near the amp do the trick or would a higher output alternator be needed? I guess because I've never done two battery's I'm curious about how effective the second battery wouldbe (I know they get expensive).
I have a 150 amp alt. and I plan on running 2 amps for a total of 1800 watts rms.
Will this be enough juice? If not what needs to be upgraded? I've seen things like capcells and wasn't sure if that would work.

I have a 2001 sierra with OEM 6.5 comps in front and 4x6's back. I'm going to be replacing and amping the speakers. It seems that the best place to start is by setting up the door panels what steps do I need to take?
I haven't really decided on speakers or amp I'm just trying to find a starting...
I looking for something that can be listened to at an average level and have good SQ but then when turned up really hit and put out volume. I can't tweak the set up very much because it's under a rear seat but the box is fiber-glassed if that helps. Maybe if someone can explain why the subs are...
