So I have a Hifonics hfi1000.1D, which does 1000rms at 1 ohm. My sub is a Alpine 1223d DVC rated at 600rms. I have it wired to 1 ohm. I'll be using a dmm to set the gain. My question is, what rms do I go off of? The amps 1000 or the subs 600? As of now I have the gain voltage at 24.5v...

I had voltage at the power wire. The amp turned on so im guessing the remote wire has voltage. How do i check the rca for signal?

I recently installed a Hifonics hifi1000.1d. The amp turns on, but it wont send anything to my subs. Im assuming there is suppose to be some type of voltage coming from the speaker terminal, but they read and 0v. Should I return the amp or is there something I can try.
