I'm building a system again after many years. Looking to go active, was going to go with a dsp and or active crossover set up of some sort but now I have heard about the Pioneer 80prs. This seems to do everything I really need. What are or are there other options for similar head units...

What is the value of it all? Look into your local limits for small claims court usually 5grand limit or so but at least you could get something back out of it. And thats cheap to do and no lawyer needed.
