i was thinking of making the box fairly wide. my max top depth is 6inch and my max bottom depth is 11inch? does that make things easier?

Sealed, with a max depth of about 8 inchs with an angled back if that helps. i tried looking on the alpine site and the owners manual on the alpine site and i couldnt find much info at all regarding the recommended enclosure size for them. if you could get a link for me that would be great? Thanks

Box Dimensions are: Width 19inch Height 14inch Depth 9inch Question, how did u attach the 2 pieces together to make it 1 inch? just glue with some nails spread through the middle and surrounding sides, or something more complicated?

i have just picked up some brackets, nails and glue so hopefully that should work, if it doesnt then ill make a new one out of 3/4inch.

ok, so what does spl and sq mean, my mate reckons its sound placement and sound quality, if so, what are the differences.

i did and i have had no replies, my problem is, the standard depth to boxes is too deep for my car, so i was wondering what sort of affect cutting the depth back and extending the width would have to the sound quality?
