Looks like Im starting all over.. I dont see the point putting money into the tantric motor/baskets.. Back to research on what subs i want to invest in.. A company that is not gona **** in 2 years and stop making recones i hope.. Ideas?>

Trust me i know... PSI recone is about 220$ I looked around.

You dont! Trust me dont go by the 3/4 rule unless you plan on replacing your cones alot. Just cuz Your subs can take some clipping for a short amount of time dont make it a good idea..

I just tested the coil in Q as far back on the tinsels as i could, and i got .7 out of it. There is no coil rub.. Maby a crude dust cap removal and i could do a temp fix?

I think i have a break in a tinsel and a good coil.. Is there N e hope to do a temp fix before i recone? One outa 2 coils on one sub is reading 0 on dmm.

The good sub went full tilt for 3 songs on 2.4k and the coil was not even warm... Kinda what i expected..

Im thinking about proving a point tomorrow and sealing up one sub hole, and running the good sub at .7ohm.. Im 99% sure it will stay cool even with a 2.4k on it alone. I will not even change any settings..The subs are known to take 2.5k each with clean power...So I was told...I do have a singer...

I have np cutting out the coil intact so it makes it easy, and sending it to some one. Im worried the specs were off from the get go on the coil tho.. Like i said one sub takes full power all day and you can put your finger on the coil its cold....Reminder there on a 2.4k a .7ohm coils should...

The tantric were seeing 1k each if i was lucky. Had two 2k amps on each stroker at .5ohm each...So ya they took more for longer.. If some one has the same motors out there that could make a drop in that would kick ***. I get how having the sub there makes it easy to get it just right. I hit up...

Can any one give me a name of some one that can get me recones? every one is saying people do it but I have not got one who said they can or will do it?

So your saying im fucked then? From what i understand only a few people know how to make a recone for a tantric sub and its not cheap. I bought these subs thinking i had a woofer i could keep alive for a long time.

I just found tantric went outa biz. Can any one help me out with a recone. I got these subs off of a tantric rep on caraudio(not gona say names) not knowing i would be fucked for a recone when i payed 800$ for 2 used subs i knew would need a recone one day.. Am i fucked or can some one still...
