Anybody have the memphis 16-MCD1000 1100X1 sub amp? I was going to buy a hifonics amp because they are pretty cheaply priced but I can get a good deal on this amp at my local stereo shop. I'll be running three 10" MCLASS memphis subs in a ported box off it. Let me know what you think:p:

My friend that owns the shop I am buying this stuff from said the M3's wouldn't be any better than the Mclass subs. They cost about twice as much also.

I'm running JL XR653csi three way's off a kicker amp.....I don't remember what model, but it's way more than they need.

what's your point? I know soundsplinter is better than sony....sony sucks *** that's why they sell them in wal-mart lol I'm just saying that everybody is all on alpine's nuts like they have the best shit out there. Reminds me of how everybody was about audiobahn when they first came out lol...

yeah....I had a blow-through on my f-150 and I didn't like it.....it's great for the subs but you get all kinds of road noise coming through there at highway speeds. I ended up welding a piece back into my ford. I have even though about using just one 12 I mean don't you only gain 3db by adding...

I want good sound but it's gotta pound....can't you have both? They were wanting $200 ea. for the subs and $400 for the amp. Is there a amp you recomend for less? Who makes the amp you have?

I have a regular cab s-10 that I want to install a system in. Right now I have a pioneer deh-8000R head unit....I know it's old but it has alot of good features lol and I have a JL xr 3-way componet set running off a kicker amp....250 I think don't really remember. Anyway...the local stereo...
