    what i dont get is... if i set it low i can just crank the volume up to 32/36 on my h/u and have it sound the same as if i set it high and put the volume at 23/36. so what is the difference? also, are you not supposed to use the equalizer at all after you set the gains? because for some songs...

    It was screwed up after it was installed, going into protection and randomly turning off. once we hooked up the remote line to the h/u instead of the fuse box it worked. it worked for all of yesterday... then today it just turned off while i was driving and now it will just show the protection...

    would it be damaged? i think thats the reason why the amp has been going into protection mode and randomly turning off once this is fixed, will the subs/amp have been damaged at all?
