just wondering if a sub up port back design would be good for my situation. ive got a re audio sxx 15 that i want to put into my dodge durango, problem is the space between port and hatch will only be 2 maybe 3 1/2 inches. so im wanting to know if i side port or a sub up port up design would be good

im trying to build a ported box for a hdc3 15, the only problem i have is my 6x9s are some quantum audio 3 ways that i put in there the magnets are huge so its only leaving me about 16 inches of clearance. would a woofer up port back set up work alright, and would i be able to use a vent port...

thanks, i found a set of type r 12s with a MB quart 1500.1 amp for pretty cheap.i think thats what im going with because the sxx 12 is the same price for one in a cheap box,

This will be my first new build, I did have an older model fusion power plant in a custom box. I eventually sold the fusion and am now looking to put a new set up in. I was looking at the alpine type r 15, re audio sxx12d4, or the tc sounds epic 12. I will end up paying the same for any of them...
