Thanks for the suggestions guys. The kicker amps i was looking at are roughly the same price as the alpine. I guess its just a choice between alpine and kicker. Are the alpine amps rated about right or are the a little underated like the kickers?

I am putting a couple re 12's in my wife's car. I am looking for a decent amp that can put out around 500 watts at 2ohm. I was thinking a cheap kicker, but if there is something i can get cheaper and is just as good I amp hoping for some ideas. I am wanting to spend as little as possible. Thanks

Long story, Its for a home stereo. I bought some mtx home speakers... they had dual 12" woofers in both cabinets. I switch them out with kicker comps ported them and put dayton plate amps on each set of twelves. The boxes were 3.8 cubes and I put a divider in the box cutting it down to 2 cubes...

I have a box for 2 12" subs, It is a dual chamber vented enclosure. I want to make it a common chamber... Do I have to cut the divider all the way out or will cutting 2 or 4 large holes almost like baffles work?
