The reason i want to trade is because this Edead V2 doesnt have the aluminum backing... adn iwas plannig on using it in my trunk but ED says nto to... they say its only forfloors and palces that dont face direct sunlight...

Get a compass and set it to the radius of your subs cut out. then mark the place on the box were you want you sub to be centered. Make your circle and then cut it out with a jig saw.

I owuld make the box tall er then 10 inches prolly 11-12 cause the subs are tens but in actual size there prolly a litllbe bigger.

Ok, I'm planning on building a new box. I plan on glassing the front and having the rest MDF. But I don't know how to finish it up if I do that. I don't want to carpet over the glass, but I don't want to paint the MDF because I dont think it will look good. So how would I make this look good?

IF your looking for other subs check out the ED K series http://www.edesignaudio.com I've never used them but they get rave reviews. I will prolly be purchasing these subs in the spring or next summer.

id just cut it or find new ground on the floor or firewall. If you cut it make sure you butt connect or use male female conn.

My friend had a similar prob with a red top. He got it hooked it up and it wouldnt hold a charge. He would charge it and in about 1 or 2 days it would lose its charge. So he took it back and they gave him a new one. Works fine now.

i think companies should have an code so if some one steals it they need a code to get it wokrking again.
