So i disconnected the radio from the amp and the loud pop is gone, i connected one rca and the noise is back, so it doesn't seem like its the amp but the headunit. Strange that it wasn't happening with my previous amp.

Just installed a pioneer 8604 amp, when i turn the key to acc every things fine, but when i start the car all the speakers make a loud pop sound. However if the car is off and i quickly start the car before the headunit turns on there's no noise, does this have something to do with the headunit...

Damnit those things aren't cheap :/

So all android auto units can do this? Guess i need to start looking for one.

Well it looks like i'll be going with an 8" sub for now, i ordered a ct sounds tropo 8" 2 weeks ago from amazon but they never shipped it for some reason, i asked them to cancel on friday but they said it was too late, it was shipped today so they tried to reach dhl to intercept the package but...

Google maps was just an example, I want all bluetooth audio to be played over the tuner, notifications/YouTube/navigation. My beeline Bluetooth adapter had this feature but it only worked on oem radios.

Fiberglass roofs are like 2k for this car, a wee bit out of the budget. The footwell box sounds interesting, but my passengers would have to be no taller than 5 foot for it to work.

The sound deadener is a good idea, shouldn't be any issues with the sub hitting the seat, there's enough distance between the two. There's even less room in the trunk

Is there a headunit that will play bluetooth audio on top of the radio or cd? It seems like you have to switch the source to bt audio first but i would prefer it bluetooth played over the radio. Would be nice if you're listening to some music and google maps says turn left over it.

It does look funny but no its no joke, the enclosure has enough volume for this sub.

And here i thought i would have to lower the gain on my amp to accommodate the 500 watt rating of the e10v3... ha ha ha guess not
