I have heard that DD subs sound good sealed but i believe they are designed for a ported enclosure. the box size you listed would be able to be ported, you could install external slot ports and not worry about loosing box volume and get alot more from the subs.

last resort, go to a local audio shop that you TRUST and tell them what you want exactly and ask them to build it for you. it would cost the same as buying off the net with shipping and be of much better quality, plus it would be built to the correct size for your sub/s

yeah, it would work but the arm rest would have to stay down. I say build the box to fit in the trunk and them make a port from the trunk to the cab using that spot. atleast that way closing it wouldnt mess up the tuning of your box

my suggestion, dont use that crap wood they use in houses to build your box. you will regret it unless you brace and seal the living **** out of it. particle board and chip board dont work to well on boxes. not dense enough and the box itself will rattle. get some mdf
