amazon has really good prices on xs power. you will see increased performance with xs power batts.

talking from experience. yes brand does matter. xs power may cost a little more but there is a huge difference. you talk to anyone running a system that draws lots of current that has switched from another brand to xs power and they will tell you the same. huge diff.

I have purchased from soundqubed many times. have always had great customer service. they have a wonderful product at a very reasonable price.

dd has a new 6.5" sub. very nice

you will be pulling quite a bit of current. the 2 sub amps will be pulling app. 400 amps each. stock alt. is probably no more than 140 amps so you can see that it will not take very long to pull the batts down. I would run multiple high output alts.

I would look on amazon. they have xs power group 31 batts at a very good price. run 4 xs power group 31 batts. xs power cost a little more but, they will out perform every other batt. out there of the same size. I saw a huge difference when I switched to xs.

you need to put a volt meter on the batt. crank the vehicle and rev the motor. it sounds like the regulator on the new alt. is bad. I have see this before. more than likely the voltage is going over 20 volts when you rev the engine.

the ct sounds 1400 is way under rated. very nice amps. coleman owns the manufacturing plant where these amps are built.

the sub is fried. most of the time that comes from either overdriving the input on the amp or low voltage will also cause clipping

it looks like some kind of distortion. it may be some sort of engine noise or actual distorted signal.
