hey im lookin for a good amp that will slam for my 1242 12" alpine type Rs i have a jl/500 now but its not enough power

i have a RF P3001 and its been fine for a year now and i just got a JL 500/1 and i hooked it up with all of the same wires (power ground remote rcas) as i did with the RF and it doesn't work..i know the amp works cuz i heard it in my friends car and it worked fine. To test it, i hooked up both...

im runnin 150w at 4ohm. im usin dual voice coils.

i have 2 audiobahn 500w 1000max peek 12s(awc12t) and a rockford amp(p3001). The subs hit pretty hard now but if i get another p3001 and use one amp for each sub will it be worth the money, and will it hit alot better than it does now? i can find them for about 130$. Tnx
