I pulled this component set out of my old car 3 years ago and now can only find the mids. Should I just start over with a new set or does anyone have any suggestions?

Well regardless of the fact I told myself I wasn't going to get another set of Memphis, I heard the 6.5 M Class components and bought them. Spent more than I wanted to spend on speakers but they seemed to sound the best overall of the ones I spent the day driving around listening to.

Yeah for the rear I think they'll be fine. I'm kind of leaning away from the components though due to all I'm hearing regarding tweeters going out or arriving not working.

I just went from a 680 to a 6000 and do regret it. I found it odd I had to adjust my gain since they are both rated at 4V. I've alot of noise coming from my speakers that I can't seem to remedy and the annoying thump when I turn off my HU that I've never had out of 7 HUs. SO its going back asap...

plug the ipod apadter to the IN spot on the sirius unit. the HU only has one input.

I had KS comps (6 1/2) and blew them with about 95rms (crystal clean power). Sent one in for replacement next week the other blew. Just said screw it after that. Only thing about it I hated was everytime a loud cymbal played when it was turned up is it made me twitch lol.

I even think woofersetc has them. WOW they went up on their prices though. Was like 299 a few weeks ago now 499. They are actually made by Morel. They say 300w rms. but knowing PG they may do more.

Ground it in your trunk within 12-18 inches of the amp. As short as you can make it.

I haven't seen this suggested but PG ti elite comps. I'm running 225w to each and it sounds pretty good. I haven't turned it up extremely loud though. It does get too loud for comfort though.

Personally I'd run 2ga to the trunk and a distro block for 2 runs of 4ga. Always ground your amps with the same gauge as the power. Do the big three and don't worry about a capacitor. From my experience they help but barely.
