so i installed a double din cd/dvd player in my 98 ford explorer xlt and now after i turn the vehicle off and leave it sit for awhile i have to pull it out and unplug it just to get it to turn on and function normally again. any ideas?

Ok so I need some help with matching some of the wiring from my wire harness to my head unit. this is the code diagram from the ford right below. NOTE: When black wire is not present. Ground radio to vehicle chasis. All colors may not be present on all leads due to manufacturers specifications...

Ok.. yeah so this is a first time installation for me. I own a 1998 Ford Explorer xlt and i'm trying to install a boss bv9557 double din touch screen dvd/cd player. it fits well, size/dimensions etc arent the issue. I'm not so sure about the wiring. i was told by someone to get a kit for this...
