I got my dd 712 sl for 240 on ebay

I've got a dd audio sl 712 d2 ohm and I'm powering it with a jx1000 @ 4 ohms so it's getting 500 watts rms and hits pretty solid and clean in my 2.5ft3 box. Ive got a 1500 watt amp and I am wondering if it will handle the power? Also what type and size of enclosure should I use for it?

So anybody have any guesses if it's gonna how it's gonna hit and sound?

Has anybody tried or heard jl tw3's ported? I seen ported enclosure specs on jl audios site but I'm curious. How do u guys think it will sound and hit with these subs if ur pushing about 500 watts and with their recommended box specs?

What's ur setup with x8s?

Is the x8 a low end monster like the rest of the x series or does it play well all around?

So nobody has any experience with both these subs?

I'd say hds but if u already got the hdc3s then stick with them

I never done an infinite baffle but I heard they get pretty crazy lol

I have heard alot about the sa 8v3 but not much about the x8. Is the sundown x8 not as good as the sa8 v3 for the money or what? Would it be comparing apples to apples or apples to monster trucks? Lol
