Had the dash out for some fiberglass repair and refinishing and decided to pull the factory single speaker AM radio and install a single DIN while wiring in my new widebands and gauges.... I havnt looked into this market in several years and I was and little blown away by how poor the products...

They can go in the sides of the sails without an issue. If anywhere, that's where they'll fit best. In the door panel itself, I could mount them closer to the woofer, it isn't a problem. I could even mount them behind the factory driver grille. That must be where they go in the Sony audiophile...

Can't fibre/bondo/paint. The sails and door panel are one peice and have a heavy texturing to them. I think it would stand out badly to have a smooth painted sail on a textured door panel.

I want to add a pair of two 10" subwoofers to my existing system. The amp that will be powering them is a Pioneer GM-5000T, which puts out RMS 380w @ 4Ohm mono, or 2 x 190w @ 2Ohm 2ch. The amp can only do 4Ohm when bridged, so I am looking for a DVC 4Ohm subwoofers. Current system is Type R...

The PAC is still plugged into the harness, but I'm using only the RCA out, so the BOSE amp and PAC are doing their own thing, unless you think that somehow the BOSE amp is communicating with the head unit, even though those outputs have been disabled in the headunit settings... Pass filters on...

Also confused by this... Why do the speakers still specify positive and negative if it doesn't matter... or does it matter? I bought a PDX 4.100 and while the connectors themselves have a + and - on them, they can go in the amp either direction, and there is NO markings on the amp, or writing...
