I have an alpine cva-1003 screen that will not play. I have bypassed the brakes and installed 2 switches one - one +. when i flip the switches i get IF box error. Does any one know how to resolve this issue? I tried calling alpine but it says they are out to lunch.

yeah thing is i have a kenwood amp that i use with the same wiring and i switched it ver and it works fine. I know it is a high current amp so does it need to have 1/0 gauge wiring and upgraded alt.

its a brand new amp. Any ways to test it. Should i try using 1/0 gauge wire.

So i have a pioneer headunit and a merlin md1 that right now im using 4 gauge. i have high grade tsunami rca's and a good ground. Im using stock alt and battery since i just got the truck about week and half ago. Problem is the amp is powering on with no protect light but it doesnt produce...
