I wouldnt say NIGHT AND DAY...I don't see that...however my Rockford Fosgate does sound a bit better...but is i the 9 volts? Is it the CD? That old radio was some fine equipment back in the day...were the iDA is a different animal. The only thing that was a bit dissapointing is the bass...

I've used the CDT HD stuff for about a decade and love it. but...next time around it's going to be Dynaudio. I was tempted to try the Focal stuff, as their amps are great! But decided to go with the best! In the $300 price range...I'm not sure. I'm used to the higher end CDT stuff myself...

Actually, someone on these forums said "just get the most power you can afford...price/brand doesn't matter, all amps sound the same..." No they don't. You get what you pay for...
