There is Sinister Auto Sports off Michigan and 96th street. They do some pretty good work. The Ovation in Castleton does good work too, I know the guys that work there. I also know a few guys at Xtreme Vehicle Designs in Noblesville, they do some pretty good work too. Hope this helps.

Speaker harnesses would make it whole lot less of a hassle to do. The stores already mentioned would have them. The thing is, when you go to hook up the speakers to the amp-a short cut is to attach them to the harness you plug into the factory plug. This will save you many hrs of frustration...

Anyway you can take it to whoever did the work? Unfortunately, this may have to be done anyway, in order to make sure it isn't the wiring. Either way, if the wiring is as bad as it sounds, cleaning it up couldn't hurt.
