    LS front speakers cutting out

I have a problem that is very confusing. My 2000 LS had the front speakers cut out when I had the stock speakers and HU in. I then replaced the front speakers. Had the same symptoms. Then I replaced the HU with a Pioneer. Same problem. Then I wired the front speakers straight to the HU...

Installing my system myself, got a few questions

There is Sinister Auto Sports off Michigan and 96th street. They do some pretty good work. The Ovation in Castleton does good work too, I know the guys that work there. I also know a few guys at Xtreme Vehicle Designs in Noblesville, they do some pretty good work too. Hope this helps.

Installing my system myself, got a few questions

You could also look at the Sundown subs, as well as the FI subs. As far as those amps, I have the SAZ1000D and love it. I have heard nothing but good things about the other 2 amps. Good luck. If you don't mind me asking, who is going to build the box?

Installing my system myself, got a few questions

Speaker harnesses would make it whole lot less of a hassle to do. The stores already mentioned would have them. The thing is, when you go to hook up the speakers to the amp-a short cut is to attach them to the harness you plug into the factory plug. This will save you many hrs of frustration...

Installing my system myself, got a few questions

That kit looks like everything needed for a 4 channel amp. As far as a harness for the HU you will need http://www.crutchfield.com/p_120705520/Receiver-Wire-Harness.html , any Best Buy or Ovation should carry them. If you want the steering wheel controls to work you will need one of these...

Installing my system myself, got a few questions

As far as I can tell the amp kit will work just fine with the amp you are getting. You will want to get another set of RCA to run from the HU to the amp. If you have only 1 set of RCA you will be running only 2 channels. Also for getting your steering wheel controls to work, the following...

    Sound cutting out, help!

Anyway you can take it to whoever did the work? Unfortunately, this may have to be done anyway, in order to make sure it isn't the wiring. Either way, if the wiring is as bad as it sounds, cleaning it up couldn't hurt.

    Sound cutting out, help!

Yes, fix the wiring. It sounds like the power or signal is getting interupted.

Amp and bandpass sub install '07 VUE

You could just mount the amp to the box. That's the easiest way, perhaps not the prettiest though. You might be able to find some room under a seat, maybe, or in the spare tire well. Next the wiring-just go down the line Chan 1-LF, Chan 2-RF, Chan 3-LR, Chan 4-RR, Chan 5-Sub. You may need to...

I just picked one of these up today. It didn't come with the harness. I am thinking it's the white one. Could anyone tell if I am right?

Plexiglass/Lexan inserts in a sub box

I will be building a sub box with two windows in it so you can see the amps mounted behind the box. I have three questions, 1: Should I use plexi or Lexan,2: How thick should either be and 3: How do I go about attaching said panels to the MDF? Thanks
