lol...i have 2 front speakers, a HU with only 1 pre-amp, and a 2 channel amp. I want to add a sub, but I need a new HU because I need to power the sub (which requires another amp). That amp would not be able to connect to my current HU because I have only 1 pre-amp

i dont know, it was installed by tweeter. But the guy was a pretty good installer (not a hack)...so he knew what he was doing.

i don't know. He was installing an ipod adaptor & HU. He said i would need to add a radio adaptor in order to get radio signals. He only had a volkswagon adaptor

I had an alpine 9852 Head Unit installed. The installer said he needed to install a radio adaptor....now I can't get certain radio stations anymore. Do I need a different radio adaptor (are some better than others) OR was the adaptor installed improperly???? He installed a volkswagon adaptor...
