Love JVC hu's. Had one in my truck for about 7 or 8 years. It was still going strong when I traded in the truck. Have one in my car now, and it is great.

Thanks for the help guys. I just ordered the cables, terminal ends, fuse and fuse holder from Knu Koncepts. The place I am having install the amps will put in the distribution block and the fuses for the amps. I think I should be good now. Thanks Again

Thinking about doing the big 3. The car is a 1991 dodge dynasty. From what I have read, it is good to go with larger cable. Is this correct (altenator is stock)? If so, I am going to order 1/0 gauge. Also, I am going to be running a 4 channel amp and a 1 channel amp. They total 160 amp...

I am going to be getting the 1400D and the 1700D priced. I will have to see what the difference will be. Do you know how the DTR4.500 and the STL4.500 compare? I am also needing something to power my other speakers. Thought about going soundstream with both amps.

Forgot to mention, this is for two subs.

The subs are T3 TS10d4 subs. I was thinking about wiring them parallel with maybe a Soundstream DTR1.1400D. The subs are rated at 600 watts rms each, and the amp is rated at 1400 watts rms @ 1ohm. Read some good reviews on the D-tower amps. Any thoughts or suggestions?

I think I will run them both. I should be able to put them in seperate boxes just behind the wheel wells. Maybe angled in slightly. That will allow for plenty of trunk space. Glad to hear they sound good.

Just put in some MB Quart DKG 169 6x9's. The sound great. They are only rated at 60 wrms.

Well, it is going to be the T3 TS-10d4. The guy had two of them new in the box. He gave me a great deal, so I bought both of them. Now I have to decide whether I should run both or just one as planned originally. Guess it is time to start building some enclosures and choosing an amp also.

The T3 may be a good choice then. I'm sure it doesn't compare to your Hdc3. I made an offer on the T3, just waiting to hear back about it. If the guy doesn't except the offer, I may go with the SE (it is priced a little higher).

No the seat does not let down.Sounds like a 10" sub should be good though. Just have to make up my mind which one to get.
