Thanks a lot! I think its just my ground wire being smaller than the power cable, i had ordered 16 feet and it wasnt enough to make a ground and run to my battery so i thats why im not using 4 gauge for the ground

my ground is fine, my lights didnt used to dim until today when i switched out my 40anl fuse and 8 gauge power wire to an 80anl fuse and 4 gauge wire. So im guessing my ground needs to be bigger too?

okay and run some 4 gauge cable through that and i shouldnt have any problems?

Idk what the battery size is...its in a 05 Chevy silverado though, and my ground is about a 18 inches...im not even using an alternator. I dont understand the big 3 either. Im a noob im sorry :/

I have a KickerZX300.1 amp with two 10" Kicker Comps (150 RMS each) and my ground wire is 8 gauge, my power cable is 4 gauge hooked up to an 80AGU fuse.

well i have 16 feet of 4 gauge power/ground wire so i was wondering if that is a strong enough power cable for the amp...and i cant seem to fit the 4 gauge wire into the fuse holder.

My lights are dimming and everything is hooked up correctly...why would my lights be dimming?
