If i just bought a regular box off the shelf... you know, just a simple 1.3 cubic ft box for the kicker sub... how would that sound? I know it is not tuned to anything specific. It's like 1.3 cubic ft ported... it's got a big long thing in the front that lets the air out i guess.

ok thanks. but what about the system I'm looking at? Is it ok? First time sub user here... heh. I am most likely going to upgrade the amp later on the down the road, but this is it right now.... so if anybody can tell me some more specifics on this system that would be awesome!

Its a scion tc.... hatchback basically. I am really just looking for an addition to really pick up the low notes. Like i said, i'm not in it to win any competitions.

I am on a really tight budget and saw this online. I was wondering if it would be a good pairing. It is just one Kicker s10l5 at 2 ohms and the kx450.2 amp. This is my first sub and i want it to hit hard, but i'm not looking to win any competitions with it. So would this amp be ok to power...
