My friend has one of the cooler setups with 4 speakers and headunit (all completely waterproof). It runs off a jetski battery that has a charger hooked up so all you have to do is plug it in to charge. We take it out on his boat while wakeboarding or fishing since the boat doesnt have any system.

just use some polyurethane to coat the box, it will be lighter and most likely cheaper

resin will weigh much more than some polyurethane

I'm thinking thats not enough cubes for a ported box, but it all depends on what subs your putting in it.

Just find the volume you have with the slant and figure out rectangle dimensions that give you the same volume and put that in a box calc. That should tell you port length, vol., etc.
