Thank you capt obvious. Was hoping someone could throw out a suggestion as to why they could've possibly blown if/when I hooked the amp up. Btw, the neg terminal on the car battery was disconnected.

I purchased an eD nine1 amp a few weeks back and finally got around to installing it in my car. I hook everything up and nothing happens. I unhook all the connections, everything looks good, hook it back up & still nothing. Finally, I decide to pull the fuses on the amp...sure enough all...

I was helping a friend install an amp in his truck today, well long story short we hook the amp up (brand new btw) and all the sudden sparks start shooting from where the power wire is connected to the amp! The fuses look good, I have no clue what the issue is...any advise?

I dont even recall what series. It was about a year and a half ago when I purchased them. The amp was not bridged, as I'm running a set of crossfire mids off the amp as well. I dont know how they'd be out of phase & I have no bass boost at all running through them.

Im not too impressed w/my CDT components so I'd like to replace them. They really sound muddy to me and Im not impressed by any means with them. They're being powered by a Crossfire VR804 amp (80x4). I had a set of Focal Access 6.5's back in the day and they were really solid in my opinion...

Im having some major issues when using my XM radio. Intermittedly when using the XM, all the sudden the sound cuts completely out of the right side of my vehicle while it continues to work perfectly fine on the left. Its really strange. I can go a few days either with no issues, or a few days...

What's the difference in home speaker wire vs. car audio speaker wire. I was planning on rewiring my comps & mids this weekend. I have a spool of Monster cable home theater wire (16gauge) and was wondering if I could use it or not. Thanks!

I'll never again put a K&N or any other oil-based/reusuable filter in my car. Causes nothing but problems if the filter is ever over oiled, etc. It'll leave a residue on your MAF wires

I'd say thats a mid-high 13 second car. He should be able to grab traction with those MT's...they're pretty sweet drag radials. Dont last long, but they're sticky!

Comparing magazine times = **** Go out in the real world and actually run the both of them. The Evo would run a low 13 w/a good driver (stock) and the jeep would pull a low 14. The Evo is superior in every aspect except for offroading. With that being said I wouldn't drive either. :P

After doing alot of reading I think I'm going to be purchasing on of the eD's by weeks end. Ill report back on how well it works in comparison to what I'm replacing (crossfire bmf1000d).
