The sub is wired correctly, and yeah I wish my other one didn't give out, but would it really make this much of a difference? So setting the sub control higher won't hurt anything?

Sub control wont cause clipping then? The deck is 2 volt I just put it in a few days ago after my Pioneer 8500bs gave out. It was 4 volt . Also I know this is probably a dumb question, but what is sub phase?

I used the RE audio box calculator. I can have a box thats 40 in width, 16 tall, 9 top and bottom depth, 1.5 port width and the "port 2" length is 12. I know those are really crazy numbers I just dont have a lot of width available. It comes out to 2.141 cubic feet, tuned to 32.68hz with 21.75...
