hey guys im thinkin about getting two 12" type r's and there is the 2ohm and 4ohm. whats the difference?

alright i will be buying my first complete car audio system very soon and this is what i will be purchasing deck: alpine cda-9885 amp: alpine pdx 2.150 speakers: one set of alpine spr-17s type-r's sub amp: jl audio 500/1 mono sub: jl audio 10w7 i know it will be on the expensive side...

around $300 US

im in somewhat of a dilemma! i am not sure which speakers i want to use with my alpine pdx 2.150 amplifier. could you audio experts recommend me some good SQ speakers for this SQ amp please?? i was thinking of getting one set of type r's but i dont know...plz help. thx.

will the alpine cda-9885 power one set of type r speakers to their full potential no problem or would i need an amp to power one set of type r speakers? sorry dont know too much about this car audio stuff.

help me out here! i am in AMP DILEMMA!!!! of these 3 amps which one should i use to power one 12w7... - JL Audio 1000/1 - RF T10001bd - Orion HCCA-D2400 what amp would you choose and please state the reason(s) why! by the way, could a 12w7 handle 900 - 1200watts or is that too much power for it?
