I'm using my stock deck for the M3.

Amp: Alpine MRV-F545 Gain range: 200mV - 4.0V Now when I turn it to 200mV my music is the loudest and as I adjust it to 4.0V the music is really quiet. Am I doing something wrong here? Shouldn't my music be the loudest when it's set at 4.0V? Thanks, myfootsmells.

thanks for the suggestion but it happens even when I turn the gain all the way down.

i have this slight hissing sound when i turn the HU on. the hissing noise is at a pretty constant volume and it doesnt fluctuate when i rev my car. bad ground? suggestions? thanks. myfootsmells
