Okay, so I've decided to go with 345is components in my A4. I live 45 mi. from the nearest a/d/s/ dealer. On the internet I se these speakers priced from $350 to $650. I realize that most of these are not authorized dealers. How reliable are they? Where do they get their stock?

I'm interested in any thoughts about which might be better for my 1997 Audi A4: a/d/s 345is or 345im. Gracias.

Thanks for the responses. I have extensive sound deadening in the doors and on rear shelf. I don't think it's electrical since it happens when using the Sheffield test disc and a Radio Shack db level meter.
