ok, this is going to be a very opinionistic question, but i need as much help as possible. but what are the best high powered subs (rms watts greater than 500) and what amp should i use to power it. im only looking to buy 1 sub, and 1 amp. you guys are gods to me, please help!

ok ok heres my question.... OK from what i hear audiobahn, mtx , infinity and rockford fosgate are all good subs. but what i don't get is why are audiobahns sold for so much less, when their specs are always better than their mtx, infinity, etc. counterparts. are audiobahns cheep quality...

first of all is the Audiobahn AW1208X 12 a good sub, it has 1500 watt rms , so im assuming it is. And is audiobahn a reputable company? secondly, if i do purchase this subwoofer, what kind of amp should i get, and how many watts should it be? thank you very much for any help

yeh he's right, its a common misconception that a over powerful amp will hurt a sub, but in fact, its when the amp isn't powerful enough, that the sub is blown out. holla!
