4 gauage amp kit?

Pretty much have my first system figured out, but wondering if I'm missing anything. I've got the sub mounted in a box, and I have speakers with harnesses. Next will be JVC KW-R925BTS head unit from crutchfield and will add the wiring interface/dash kit/antenna adapter to my order. After that...

Wow that's a ton of good reviews. More $ than another one I was looking at, but based off quick glance I feel like I'd regret not going with the CAB.

Picked up an Alpine SWR-12D2 mounted in a ported box. Probably going with the JVC KW-R925BTS head unit(that will be installed first) and I'm not sure what amp I want to get for the sub, but preferably something under $150 if possible.

**** really that bad on the kenwoods? They sounded a lot better than my stock speakers in the store.

So an update, I did end up getting the speakers first but only cause I heard them at Best Buy and they were on sale. I went with the Kenwood KFC-650. I'm still going to have the head unit installed first but not sure what I want to get yet. I will have a shop install the head unit and I'm...

Just found out it is a 2 ohm. Amp is 1,000 watts RMS x 1 at 2 ohms so I'm guessing it should be fine? Anything else that will work and not super expensive?

Not positive yet but I'm probably going to get a 12" Alpine Type R and wondering if the Kenwood KAC-9106D will work well with it? Will post links if needed.
