its a 4 guage wire I'm running and didnt know what to do about the rca jacks.

here are some pics of the wiring on the amp side. tell me if anything is wrong.

I have a alpine 7897 receiver if that helps. I'm gonna try to look at the rca jacks again from what you guys have said

I have checked the ground connection cable and the rca jacks on the amp side and everything seems to be working. but I seem to only have the bass cut out or the low rumble at around volume 15 out of 35. still dont know what it could be

whenever I check on the amp when the bass cuts out, it reads normally with just the power light on. and the rumbling noise is just that, there is a really low rumbling noise caused by the sub when the bass cuts out or even behind the regular bass.

I've recently been having problems with my system as the title saids. My system is a 12w7 powered by the 1000/1 amp from JL. I've had this running for about a year now. Now my problem is how now when I listen to it around the day, the bass would suddenly cut out or go into this rumbling bass...

You have 2gs to spend on a system? If so, I would get 2 12w7s, 2 pg tantrums 1200.1 for sure.

How much for just the amp?
