I would highly recommend the pioneer TS-C160R. I recently purchased them and have been really impressed by it. In the past, Pioneer had not developed the greatest speakers, but this new model is really nice...... check it out.

It should be ok..... I used to have my US Amp under my seat for over a year & it did not give me any problems.
