You bought an amp online for next to nothing and you start blaming a shop when it fails on you. Nice. I know a bunch of very good car audio guys in your area, but I would never send them a customer like you Critical, angry, negative nancy.....you get what you pay for....get over it!

You have a double edge sword here..."Affordable", "1k watts", "1ohm", and "reliable for years" is tough to find in one amp. Take the "affordable" part out of the equation and you will be set "for years" I would look into Arc Audio amps, maybe the ks1200.1 would work well for you...it wont cost...

So when you go to a concert, do you turn your back to the stage cause that's how your truck is set up...you're taking rear fill to a whole new level

Decent sub, But even the most expensive subs can sound crappy in an inappropriate enclosure. Enclosure details, and what are you looking for? SPL? SQ? mixture of both?
