I was wondering if an amp calls for 4 gauge power wire and you use, say, 2 gauge wire to ground it- would it sound more substantial? So, to be clear. This amp would get four gauge from the battery for power and get two gauge from the chassis for ground.

I think you would have to wire it to 1ohm mono to get that big last number. ...but then the car would probably fall apart!

Cleaning the amplifier may help it sell. You should be able to use paper towels, microfiber cloths, water, car soap, wd-40, armor all, etc and q-tips to get the amp clean! Love those amps btw. I bought a US-200 (red) back in 1998 and just gave it back to the place I bought it from last year...
