I'm having that same problem with my DEH-740MP. Also, when I turn the volume to zero and then bring it back up, it will pop again. But, it doesn't always do it so I think that there is just a loose wire somewhere. I think it might be the ground on my amp because I got lazy and stuck on a bolt...

ok, i see it now, but if i want to tune it 30hz i still use that same size box? Does that include displacement in the equation? What if i go with a bigger box? how does that effect sound?
