    "Make room for baby" project

Maybe I just like secure men! Couldn't resist that. My wife has been givin me crap about the stripes all week. I actually painted the trim white and couldn't get it perfect so I went out, got a marker and drew on the stripes which will eventually match the outside of the vehicle. I have a...

    "Make room for baby" project

The job is almost finished. I just have a few things left to do like installing the rear seat belts, clamping down the patch cords and a few other small things. The bass isn't as boomy as my old box but I wanted to give up some db's for a cleaner sound so all is well. I still have to tweak some...

    "Make room for baby" project

The time has come to take out my 24 cube spl box and redo my system. I have to use my wifes vehicle anytime I take my daughter out because I couldn't lock down the rear seat in my bronco. I started by gutting out the inside and fatmatting most of the interior. I cleaned my carpets and...

    My Latest Build *PICS*

If you use fleckstone just buy the cheap clear at walmart and put a thin coat over it after the fleckstone drys for about 12 hrs. It will give the fleckstone a good bond and keep it from chunking off so easily.

    Pro 60 problems

I don't have any warranty, I bought them online:*******: What mids and tweets would get as loud and be as clear or better than the pro 60 set ? I would like to hook them into the pro60 crossovers if possible, and keep the budget to around $200.

    Pro 60 problems

I have the Boston Acoustics pro 60 6.5 set and I noticed a couple problems while redoing the interior of my bronco. The driver door mid has the copper coil seperating and coming out the front of the speaker. Suggestion? The other problem is not something I noticed but something I did. I took...

    Help with pro60

It puts out 200w each. I don't think it is an underpowered problem (although they could use more). Ology asked if I had plexiglassed the large openings which I skipped. He thinks the deadener is flexing and cancelling out the wave. I will tear it back down and fill in those holes in the next...

    Help with pro60

Ok I got everything set but still have problems. I have my subs at 80hz with a slope of 24. I have to set my mids all the way up to 150 with a slope of 12 in order to get rid of the crap bass sound. Any ideas?

    Help with pro60

After alot more reading I now know that the passive crossovers don't have any highpass at all. I was unaware of that and now know that that was my midbass problem here. So now with more knowledge comes more questions. As asked above, is it better to set highpass at the deck or the amp? What...

Polarity isn't reversed on either. I am a noob at this, should I set the highpass at the deck or the amp?

    Help with pro60

I just got my comps installed and the midbass blows ***. It sounds ok at low volumes but anything over 50% volume and they sound like there is wave cancellation. The midbass goes from punch to plunk. I have a 95 bronco with the mids in factory locations and tweets about 8" back and 1" up...

    Project time

I have been out of the sound game for awhile now and it is time to get back in. I started to give it a go a year or so back and some *** stole my 3 month old 770mp premier so I said to hell with it and left the wires hanging out of the open slot just as the thief left em. I am on a budget and...
