Id say it depends on the car, try it each way, becasue with my Wrangler that i had, the subs only sounded loud and good when they were facing you. Try each and every way u can, just rotate the box!

its going to be a little harder to reach those DBs in a Vert, BUT It can be done! I really like how loud my RE SX15 got, and im sure with 2 or 3 with at least 3000watts going to them will get u near ur goal, but like you said airspace is going to be ur main issue. Might even have to stay sealed...

Yes that is what i am saying u can change the amp for the stock 10 or 15 to a 25 or 30 and put out more power.

I had my 2 10w6's running off a orion 1200 and i had the gain at like 3/4 and they loved it, they hit so clean and pretty hard. well hard for some but i was used to my RE SX 15

are u kidding me...is that even a serious question...its a radar detector...not a cop detector...when the cop doesnt have the radar on it doesnt tell u....when its on it does..
